Flashback, in 2017 the business solutions team at LinkedIn created an infographic about how they use LinkedIn for marketing.

This year, a new version of the infographic was created and updated the content with insider tips and ideas.

The graphic makes a deep-dive of various LinkedIn offered features, including Sponsored Content, Sponsored InMail, and Dynamic Ads. All these features are supporting your Linkedin Marketing Strategy. If you recognize yourself like hundred other marketers asking themselves.

  • How can I grab the attention with the headline of my Sponsored Content posts?
  • Is shorter better when it comes to captions in my LinkedIn Ad?

Let us be realistic and face the truth. It’s been over ten years ago when my primary business network was Xing. Until today their share of users is higher in Europe than LinkedIn. I personally used only Xing in Europe and never looked into LinkedIn. When I moved to the Middle East back in 2006 I finally looked into LinkedIn. Things have changed in 10 years and I see now not anymore a business relationship platform. I see a powerful marketing platform which has all the goodies of a social media platform.

One of my personal favorite advice is the fact that any ads which show only company logo, or InMails coming from company accounts are useless. Put a real person in front of your audience, give them a face to look into. I guarantee you 100% success by doing this.
